Selena Gomez will serve as the new face of Coach. The announcement comes during the Coach’s 75th anniversary year, while the brand undergoes a transformation back to their heritage, leather ways.
The collaboration covers both Coach’s Fall ’17 fashion campaign as well as a special design project with the brand’s creative director, Stuart Vevers.
“I am so excited to work with Coach and love the clothes and accessories designed by Stuart Vevers. I am especially looking forward to getting to know the Coach team as well as becoming involved in the Foundation’s support of Step Up,” said Gomez. “On top of all that, collaborating on a piece with Stuart for next fall makes this beyond special to me.”
Gomez will also contribute her time to Coach Foundation, which supports Step Up, a national charity dedicated to empowering teenage girls from under-resourced areas.
“The woman I design for is authentic, honest and possesses a romantic charm mixed with a cool, confident attitude,” said Vevers. “Selena embodies all of these qualities perfectly—but the fact that she has always loved Coach, and believed so strongly in our philanthropic mission, made her a true Coach Girl.”
