Native Shoes is building its direct-to-consumer business with its first online exclusive print.
The brand, best known for its ultra-light vegan footwear, debuts the Johnny and Fitzsimmons Treklite unisex boots in a new camouflage print available only on nativeshoes.com.
“With an exclusive colorway, we can further delve into the storytelling around the boots, giving them character and bringing them to light,” said Dominique Morisset, Native shoes marketing director. “Camo is classic, it’s a staple that will never fade. Its resilience to being a ‘thing of the past’ makes it the perfect print to apply to our new all-terrain boots.”
The boots get a weatherized upgrade with microfleece lining, waterproof backing and a two-part lugged outsole for added grip. Both boots are a part of Native’s new terrain-conquering tribe, featuring rubberized outsoles with siping, a water resistant upper and a Scotchgard Defender Repellent System.
The online exclusives support Native’s efforts to ramp up its online efforts and connect with consumers. The brand recently bowed a new online platform and e-commerce design.
The camouflage print Johnny and Fitzsimmons Treklite boots launch online Oct. 19 and will retail for $100.
