Sisters Leona and Hanna Erziak’s brand, Lena Erziak, takes a regal step toward Fall ’17 with jewel tones and rich materials.
Serving as the first fall collection since the brand’s relaunch last year, the Italian-made line gets the royal treatment with an emerald green, ruby red and gold color palette interrupted by shocks of bright red patent leather.
The designers’ Russian heritage shines through their use of materials, combining velvet with patent leather, fur and tweed. The brand’s signature Lola stiletto dazzles in metallic brocade, while a block heel version looks fresh and youthful in gold glitter.
The brand adds a daintier bow motif to the remainder of the collection. Neat bows appear on tweed block heel pumps, velvet slides, brocade and fur-lined kitten heels and fur-covered slingback heels. A purple velvet boot adorned with a cascade of silver bows is an editorial standout.
Merlot velvet and brocade uppers add a vintage look to lace-up boots. Metallic silver and gold boots offer a bit of slouch, keying into one of fall’s biggest boot trends. A brand reinvents man-tailored oxfords by adding a covered block heel and delicate ankle straps to the lace-up styles.
The Fall ’17 collection will retail for $200-$500.
