Is festival fashion taking a break from the ’70s? Latigo’s Spring ’17 collection hints to a new and fresh direction for festival footwear.
The bohemian brand brightens up its traditionally earthy color palette with fresh pops of pink, periwinkle and peach. The feminine styling is carried into sandals embellished with floral embroidery, and shoeties topped up with a row of leather bows. Cutsey details are found in other areas of the line, including sandals with rickrack-inspired edges.
Decorative stitching, leather ankle wraps and tassels add a handcrafted feel to the collection. Huarache sandals are updated as slides offered in classic tan and trendy metallic leather. Latigo threads multi-color woven fabric through some for an extra pop of color.
The brand’s selection of heels includes low cork wedges with open-toe ghillie uppers, and block heels with frontal zipper closures.
